Mangaluru
Rajesh lives with muscular dystrophy. The occupational therapist at the Mangaluru Mobility Clinic has assessed him and recommended an adapted tricycle. The public scheme doesn't cover it, and the quote from the supplier is $1,100. His current equipment is 12 years old and keeps breaking, which has confined him to home for 10 weeks. With the right equipment Rajesh could join the school sports day. It would change everyday life for the whole family. We've applied to two charities already and received small contributions; this campaign covers the rest. I'll pay the supplier directly from the funds, and I'll post a photo once the equipment is delivered. Where the $1,100 goes: • adapted tricycle: $990 • Fitting and training sessions: $30 • Delivery and set-up: $20 • First-year servicing plan: $60 I'll keep this page updated with receipts as things happen.

Updates from Sudha

  1. Thank you all. We're at 3% now ($38). I'm honestly stunned. I met with the supplier and confirmed the amounts.

Wishing you peace. I work in healthcare and wanted you to know people are on your side. I went through something like this 3 years ago and strangers helped me out. Take care.
