Rahul can't leave home - help build a ramp
Help Rahul regain independence: a simple ramp build.
๐ฎ๐ณ Nagpur, Maharashtra, India1,059 views
Rahul has used a wheelchair since 2022, and the house has three steps at the front door and no ramp. At the moment Rahul can only go outside when two neighbors are available to lift the chair.
The materials (treated timber, screws and non-slip surface) have been donated by a local lumberyard. We need a carpenter or two to measure, cut and build, plus a helper or two.
The ramp has to meet the accessibility guideline for gradient, which is why a person with building experience is important. We estimate six hours of work.
Tools are welcome - saws, drills, spirit levels. We'll provide refreshments, and Rahul's family will cook lunch for the team.
Thanks for being kind about this.

Thinking of you and your family. Everyone deserves a bit of help sometimes. Sent it to 21 people at work. Take care.
