Rahayu's hip replacement surgery can't wait - please help us cover the bill
A scheduled hip replacement surgery in February is out of reach without help covering $500 of the cost.

Rahayu was diagnosed with endometriosis requiring surgery in November. The surgeon at Surabaya Community Hospital recommended hip replacement surgery, and She is scheduled for February. The hospital's financial office gave us a written estimate of $630, and after what my insurance will pay we're still $500 short.
my mother has been in and out of Surabaya Community Hospital since November. The doctors say endometriosis requiring surgery will get worse without hip replacement surgery. We have emptied our savings and borrowed from relatives, but the estimate of $630 is more than we can find.
While we wait, Rahayu struggles with daily life and can't climb stairs. Her family has taken turns caring for her, and I've cut my own work hours to be there.
Rehabilitation is expected to take about 3 weeks. During that time Rahayu won't be able to climb stairs, so the costs keep growing.
I'll pay the hospital and pharmacy directly and post every receipt in the updates section.

• Surgeon and anesthesia fees: $310
• Pre-operative tests and imaging: $80
• Travel and lodging for the family: $50
