Rafael's path to healing - weekly cognitive behavioral therapy in Pelotas
After a car accident, Rafael has been on a waiting list for months - private therapy is the only option, and the cost is $500.

After a car accident, I've struggled with anxiety, sleep and panic attacks. My doctor has referred me to weekly cognitive behavioral therapy, but the public waiting list is 9 months, and private sessions at the Pelotas Counselling Collective cost $30 each.
I have been honest with my employer and taken some time off, but I can't keep going without support.
Therapy has already helped a little in the sessions I could afford. My therapist recommends 16 weekly sessions, and I know that consistent help will make the difference.
Asking for help with this has been the hardest part, and I'm grateful for your kindness without judgment.
The money will be paid directly to the counselor's practice, with a session-by-session record.
Where the $500 goes:
β’ 16 therapy sessions: $440
β’ Psychiatric assessment: $55
β’ Workbook and resources: $5
Thanks for reading all this.

is there a list of costs somewhere? Just curious how it adds up for Rafael!
Sending love, Rafael. Looking forward to the next update. All the best.
Keep going, Rafael. Shared this with my family. I went through something like this 10 years ago and strangers helped me out. Take care
Best of luck, Rafael. It takes guts to ask. Well done. Please keep us posted. Blessings.
