Rachel's school year: uniform, books and a laptop
Help Rachel begin Year 10 with a laptop, uniform and books.
🇬🇧 United Kingdom216 views
I earned a place in Year 10 at London Technical College, and I couldn't be prouder. The school has a long list of things I need, including a laptop for the design and technology course, and a uniform.
My mother works two jobs, and the list costs $1,000, which is more than we have.
I love design and technology and want to become a software developer. A laptop will let me do coursework at home instead of waiting for library hours.
I'll take care of everything you give me and I promise to work hard.
I'll buy the items from the school's approved supplier and post photos of everything.
Where the $1,000 goes:
• Laptop: $480
• School uniform and shoes: $240
• Textbooks and workbooks: $250
• Calculator, stationery and a school bag: $30
Thanks for reading all this.

You're not alone, Rachel. Reading this made my day a bit heavier but I'm glad I did
Best of luck, Rachel. Shared it with a few friends. I told my book club about it and three of them are giving too. Love from Medellín
