Rabia received an eviction notice - help us catch up on rent
The closure of the factory left Rabia short on rent for 2 months; help us stay in our home.

When the bakery closed in May, I fell 2 months behind on rent. Last Tuesday a termination letter was taped to my door, and the amount I owe is $400.
My landlord has been understanding for a while, but he has now been clear: if the arrears aren't cleared by August, we must leave.
I have two young children at home. Moving isn't just an expense - it would mean new schools, a new commute and no deposit to put down anywhere else.
I have started working night deliveries, and I'm applying for help from local services, but nothing will arrive in time without the rest of the gap covered here.
The money will be paid directly to the landlord and I'll upload the receipt once it's done.
Where the $400 goes:
• Rent arrears (2 months): $210
• Late fees and court costs: $25
• Utilities in arrears: $30
• First month of rent as a buffer: $135
You're what makes this possible, and I'll never forget it.

This could happen to any of us. Don't be hard on yourself for asking. Thinking of Rawalpindi!
Sending love, Rabia. It takes guts to ask. Well done.
Thinking of you. Shared it with a few friends. I hope August is when things finally get easier. God bless.
keep going, Rabia. It takes guts to ask. Well done. My father had a similar thing happen so this one hit home.
Wishing you peace, Rabia. Everyone deserves a bit of help sometimes
