Rabat flood relief - Greenfield village
Neighbors in Greenfield village are rebuilding after the flood; every contribution goes to materials and supplies.

The flood hit Greenfield village on 21 September. My home was one of 63 damaged, and 2 families are still in temporary shelter at a borrowed warehouse.
The first few days we shared what little we had. Now the cleanup has started, but we've no money for materials and winter or the rainy season is coming.
Schools in the area have been closed, and the clinic lost its cold storage for vaccines. We're a small community of working families who have never asked for help before.
We have formed a volunteer committee, and I'm the treasurer, so I'll post receipts for everything we buy.
We buy supplies locally and in bulk, so the money goes further. Receipts and photos will be posted in updates.
Where the $1,450 goes:
• Roofing sheets and timber: $750
• Clean water and purification supplies: $125
• Bedding, blankets and mattresses: $240
• Food parcels for displaced families: $180
• Tools and labor for repairs: $155
Even a small gift gets used right away and I'll thank you myself.

any update on how things are going in Rabat?
Take care, Romain. This could happen to any of us. Love from Mecca.
Wishing you the best, Romain. Hope you get there. Sent it to 27 people at work.
Sending good thoughts. Gave what I could, wish it was more. After 8 years in farming I know how hard it's to ask for anything. All the best.
Thinking of you and your family, Romain. Hope this works out for you. My husband and I read this together.
sending love, Romain. Shared this with my family. Don't give up.
