Qasim needs a cochlear implant processor upgrade - help us make it happen
A cochlear implant processor upgrade would give Qasim independence - we're $500 away.

Qasim lives with a rare neuromuscular condition. The occupational therapist at the Mardan Rehabilitation Centre has assessed him and recommended a cochlear implant processor upgrade. The public scheme doesn't cover it, and the quote from the supplier is $500.
His current equipment is 14 years old and keeps breaking, which has confined him to home for 6 weeks.
With the right equipment Qasim could get to the shops and visit friends. It would change everyday life for the whole family.
We've applied to two charities already and received small contributions; this campaign covers the rest.
I'll pay the supplier directly from the funds, and I'll post a photo once the equipment is delivered.
Where the $500 goes:
• cochlear implant processor upgrade: $400
• Fitting and training sessions: $20
• Delivery and set-up: $30
• First-year servicing plan: $50
Even a small gift gets used right away and I'll thank you myself.
