Putri's a partial thyroidectomy can't wait - please help us cover the bill
After a benign brain tumor, Putri was cleared for a partial thyroidectomy, but the bill is more than we can manage.

Putri was diagnosed with a benign brain tumor in April. The surgeon at Jakarta Barat General Hospital recommended a partial thyroidectomy, and She is scheduled for July. The hospital's financial office gave us a written estimate of $500, and after what the government subsidy will pay we're still $250 short.
my mother has been in and out of Jakarta Barat General Hospital since April. The doctors say a benign brain tumor will get worse without a partial thyroidectomy. We have emptied our savings and borrowed from relatives, but the estimate of $500 is more than we can find.
While we wait, Putri struggles with daily life and can't drive. Her family has taken turns caring for her, and I've cut my own work hours to be there.
Recovery is expected to take about 8 weeks. During that time Putri won't be able to drive, so the costs keep growing.
I'll pay the hospital and pharmacy directly and post every receipt in the updates section.

Post-operative medication is $40 of it. Everything else is listed in the story and nothing outside that list comes out of this page. Good question.
