Pro bono employment lawyer needed for Carter's case in Minnesota
Legal aid is overbooked; a few hours of professional help would change the outcome for Carter.

I'm facing a custody dispute, with a hearing on October. I earn too much to qualify for legal aid on paper, but not nearly enough to pay a lawyer's retainer.
I'm looking for a qualified employment lawyer licensed in Minnesota who might be able to review my documents, prepare me for the hearing, or take the case pro bono or on a reduced fee.
I've organized my documents chronologically, and I'll share them with the lawyer who agrees to help. I can travel to your office in Minneapolis or meet online.
I understand that the time of a lawyer is valuable, and I'm deeply grateful for any help or for suggestions of organizations that could assist.
Please ask me anything in the questions section. I'll answer honestly and quickly.

thinking of you and your family, Carter. Gave what I could, wish it was more. Read this on the bus and kept thinking about it all day
