Prasad was diagnosed with thyroid cancer in August. The oncology team at Nagpur Regional Medical Center has planned 4 rounds of treatment, starting in October. He will be away from work for about 12 weeks. Prasad is 32, worked as a nurse until August, and has always been the one who looks after everyone else. Now it's our turn to look after him. Treatment is covered only in part. Medication that isn't on the approved list, trips to Nagpur Regional Medical Center 5 times a week, and the income the family has lost add up quickly. We've already sold what we could and have begun borrowing for groceries. Every kindness from you takes weight off his shoulders. I'll post every invoice and receipt as an update so donors can follow where each gift goes. Where the $1,800 goes: • Chemotherapy and medication not covered: $1,350 • Scans and lab work: $110 • Transport to Nagpur Regional Medical Center: $105 • Nutrition and supplements prescribed by the care team: $90 • Household costs while unable to work: $145 Every share and every dollar helps.
