Prakash needs a stair-climbing aid - help us make it happen
A stair-climbing aid would give Prakash independence - we're $1,250 away.
🇮🇳 Delhi, India1,205 views
Prakash lives with a rare neuromuscular condition. The occupational therapist at the Rohini Rehabilitation Centre has assessed him and recommended a stair-climbing aid. The public scheme doesn't cover it, and the quote from the supplier is $1,250.
His current equipment is 14 years old and keeps breaking, which has confined him to home for 7 weeks.
With the right equipment Prakash could attend work interviews. It would change everyday life for the whole family.
We've applied to two charities already and received small contributions; this campaign covers the rest.
Funds go toward the equipment, delivery, fitting and a year of servicing.
Where the $1,250 goes:
• stair-climbing aid: $1,200
• Fitting and training sessions: $25
• First-year servicing plan: $25
I never thought I'd be the one asking, and I'm grateful for every bit of support.
