Poppy is my dog of three years. On 26 August we rushed to Dayton Animal Hospital with a foreign object blocking the intestines. The vet recommends an operation to remove the blockage, and the estimate came to $2,800. They have stabilized Poppy, but the treatment can't wait beyond November. Poppy is more than a pet - Poppy is a retired therapy animal who has comforted dozens of patients. I have already put $300 toward the bills and asked for a payment plan. Whatever I can't raise, I'll repay to anyone who needs it back. If more is raised than needed, the surplus goes to Dayton Animal Hospital's charity fund for other animals.
