Poppy's a broken leg after a road accident: help with the vet bill
A three-legged dog named Poppy needs emergency surgery - a $250 bill the family can't cover.

Poppy is my three-legged dog of nine years. On 16 July we rushed to the Mumbai Emergency Vet Clinic with a broken leg after a road accident. The vet recommends emergency surgery, and the estimate came to $250.
They have stabilized Poppy, but the treatment can't wait beyond September.
Poppy is more than a pet - Poppy is the reason I get out of bed. I have already put $40 toward the bills and asked for a payment plan.
Whatever I can't raise, I'll repay to anyone who needs it back.
If more is raised than needed, the surplus goes to the Mumbai Emergency Vet Clinic's charity fund for other animals.
Where the $250 goes:
• Diagnostics (X-ray, bloodwork): $20
• Hospitalization (2 nights): $95
• Emergency surgery: $135
I'll pay this kindness forward the moment I'm able to.

Is there a list of costs somewhere? Just curious how it adds up for Amol.
Diagnostics (X-ray, bloodwork) is $20 of it. Everything else is listed in the story and nothing outside that list comes out of this page. Thanks for asking.
Hang in there, Amol. I hope things turn around soon. Don't lose heart. A few weeks ago I was in a hole too and it changed faster than I expected. Take care.
We've got a rescue too so I know how much they mean
Praying for you, Amol. Reading this made my day a bit heavier but I'm glad I did. We're a small family in Novosibirsk but we're thinking of you. Blessings
