Pooja is the first person in the family to go to university. She is studying a degree in social work at Aurangabad Polytechnic, and is one semester away from graduating. She has worked as a library assistant to pay the way, but this term the hours were cut and there's an unpaid balance of $600. The registrar has said Pooja can't enroll for the next term until the balance is cleared. Pooja has a 3.6 average, and a faculty supervisor has written in support. Graduating means a stable job and the chance to support the younger siblings. Without enrolling this term Pooja would lose her place and scholarship eligibility. Pooja isn't asking for a handout - She wants to finish what She started and help the next student. The payment will go directly to the Aurangabad Polytechnic bursar's office. I'll post the receipt. Where the $600 goes: • Outstanding tuition balance: $260 • Final term tuition: $270 • Exam and lab fees: $50 • Textbooks and materials: $20 I never thought I'd be the one asking, and I'm grateful for every bit of support. - Neha
