Pooja needs an espresso machine and grinder to reopen a roadside café
A roadside café in Québec needs help replacing an espresso machine and grinder after floodwater.

For nine years I have run a roadside café in Québec. In July, floodwater took an espresso machine and grinder. I have no insurance, and the bank won't lend to me.
Before that, my customers came every Wednesday, and I employed 1 people from the neighborhood. I have been out of business for 12 weeks.
This business pays my children's school fees and rent. I have already started working from home in small ways, but I can't meet orders without proper equipment.
Every contribution brings me closer to reopening, and I promise to post photos as I buy each item.
Once I'm back on my feet I plan to hire back the people I had to let go.
Where the $3,050 goes:
• Replacing an espresso machine and grinder: $2,500
• Working capital for the first month: $250
• Shop repairs and licensing: $300
If you're reading this, thank you.

Wishing you peace, Pooja. It takes guts to ask. Well done
Good luck. It takes guts to ask. Well done. My daughter saw me on my phone and now she wants to give her pocket money. Thinking of Québec.
Thinking of you and your family. I hope things turn around soon. I'm in logistics myself and wanted you to know we're cheering for you. God bless.
So sorry you're going through this, Pooja. It takes guts to ask. Well done. Don't be hard on yourself for asking.
