Plant 5,000 native trees around the Baobab hillside in Peshawar
Volunteers are restoring the Baobab hillside in Peshawar; $150 covers saplings, tools and waste removal.

The Baobab hillside has been used as an informal dump for years. This October, 52 neighbors turned up for a first cleanup, filling 189 bags in a single morning. Now we want to restore it for good.
We have a plan agreed with the district council, including native species selected by a local botanist.
The area floods more each year, and fish have returned for the first time in a decade after our first cleanup. Restoring it will protect homes and bring back shade.
All the labor is volunteered. We just need materials.
We'll post planting day photos and a count of every sapling planted.
Where the $150 goes:
• Tools and protective gear: $65
• Signage and educational materials: $10
• Waste removal and skip hire: $75
Even a small gift gets used right away and I'll thank you myself.

praying for you. Looking forward to the next update. Wish I lived closer to Accra so I could bring a meal. All the best.
Take care. I've been in a tough spot myself and it does get easier. Thinking of Peshawar!
Sending strength, Iqra. Hope the build day goes well, wish I lived closer. God bless!
Your post was clear and honest. We're a small family in Winston-Salem but we're thinking of you. All the best.
rooting for you, Iqra. Everyone deserves a bit of help sometimes. I went through something like this 10 years ago and strangers helped me out. Blessings.
