Plant 4,450 native trees around Liberty Beach in Dwarka
Help us clean and replant Liberty Beach before the September planting window closes.
🇮🇳 Delhi, India410 views
Liberty Beach has been used as an informal dump for years. This June, 38 neighbors turned up for a first cleanup, filling 174 bags in a single morning. Now we want to restore it for good.
We have a plan agreed with the local forestry office, including native species selected by a local botanist.
The area floods more each year, and fish have returned for the first time in a decade after our first cleanup. Restoring it will protect homes and bring back shade.
All the labor is volunteered. We just need materials.
We'll post planting day photos and a count of every sapling planted.
Where the $250 goes:
• Waste removal and skip hire: $95
• Native saplings and stakes: $85
• Tools and protective gear: $70
Glad we found this place.

thinking of you and your family. Shared this with my family. This is the second need I've supported on here and the first that made me cry. All the best.
Wishing you peace. Projects like this are what make a place worth living in. God bless.

Hang in there. It takes guts to ask. Well done. My neighbor in Lyon donated after I showed her your page. Greetings from Lyon.
