Plant 4,300 native trees around Union Beach in Nottingham
Volunteers are restoring Union Beach in Nottingham; $2,450 covers saplings, tools and waste removal.

Union Beach has been used as an informal dump for years. This June, 92 neighbors turned up for a first cleanup, filling 161 bags in a single morning. Now we want to restore it for good.
We have a plan agreed with the municipal water board, including native species selected by a local botanist.
The area floods more each year, and fish have returned for the first time in a decade after our first cleanup. Restoring it will protect homes and bring back shade.
All the labor is volunteered. We just need materials.
Funds buy saplings, gloves, bags, hire of a skip, and signage.
Where the $2,450 goes:
• Native saplings and stakes: $1,600
• Tools and protective gear: $420
• Waste removal and skip hire: $320
• Signage and educational materials: $110
I hope life is good to you.

Rooting for you. Great idea, hope you get there. Don't be hard on yourself for asking.
This could happen to any of us. Put this on a community board in Gondar this morning. Greetings from Gondar.
thinking of you. Hope the build day goes well, wish I lived closer. My late mom used to say help given quietly counts double. Blessings.
Wishing you peace, Leonardo. Projects like this are what make a place worth living in. This is the second need I've supported on here and the first that made me cry. God bless
