Plant 3,600 native trees around Sycamore Beach in San Fernando
Help us clean and replant Sycamore Beach before the November planting window closes.
🇵🇭 San Fernando, Pampanga, Philippines1,225 views
Sycamore Beach has been used as an informal dump for years. This August, 64 neighbors turned up for a first cleanup, filling 158 bags in a single morning. Now we want to restore it for good.
We have a plan agreed with the district council, including native species selected by a local botanist.
The area floods more each year, and fish have returned for the first time in a decade after our first cleanup. Restoring it will protect homes and bring back shade.
All the labor is volunteered. We just need materials.
Funds buy saplings, gloves, bags, hire of a skip, and signage.
Where the $350 goes:
• Native saplings and stakes: $190
• Tools and protective gear: $40
• Waste removal and skip hire: $55
• Signage and educational materials: $65
Please ask me anything in the questions section. I'll answer honestly and quickly.

Best of luck, Dennis. I hope things turn around soon. Please keep us posted. Thinking of San Fernando.
Best of luck, Dennis. Hope the build day goes well, wish I lived closer. All the best
Sending love, Dennis. I've been in a tough spot myself and it does get easier. After 26 years in nursing I know how hard it's to ask for anything. Greetings from Jakarta
Gave what I could, wish it was more. Thinking of San Fernando.
