Plant 2,600 native trees around the Harmony riverbank in Zagazig
Help us clean and replant the Harmony riverbank before the December planting window closes.
🇪🇬 Egypt624 views
The Harmony riverbank has been used as an informal dump for years. This August, 36 neighbors turned up for a first cleanup, filling 106 bags in a single morning. Now we want to restore it for good.
We have a plan agreed with the municipal water board, including native species selected by a local botanist.
The area floods more each year, and fish have returned for the first time in a decade after our first cleanup. Restoring it will protect homes and bring back shade.
All the labor is volunteered. We just need materials.
We'll post planting day photos and a count of every sapling planted.
Where the $150 goes:
• Waste removal and skip hire: $80
• Tools and protective gear: $60
• Signage and educational materials: $10
I hope life is good to you.

Rooting for you. It takes guts to ask. Well done. I have a 6 year old who wants to send good wishes too. God bless
Hope things get better soon, Amira. Shared it with a few friends. Sent it to 6 people at work.
