Plant 1,900 native trees around Cedar Creek in Pelotas
Help us clean and replant Cedar Creek before the October planting window closes.
🇧🇷 Brazil1,159 views
Cedar Creek has been used as an informal dump for years. This July, 85 neighbors turned up for a first cleanup, filling 42 bags in a single morning. Now we want to restore it for good.
We have a plan agreed with the municipal water board, including native species selected by a local botanist.
The area floods more each year, and fish have returned for the first time in a decade after our first cleanup. Restoring it will protect homes and bring back shade.
All the labor is volunteered. We just need materials.
Funds buy saplings, gloves, bags, hire of a skip, and signage.
Where the $600 goes:
• Native saplings and stakes: $220
• Tools and protective gear: $145
• Waste removal and skip hire: $165
• Signage and educational materials: $70
You're what makes this possible, and I'll never forget it.

Rooting for you. Great idea, hope you get there. My daughter saw me on my phone and now she wants to give her pocket money.
stay strong, Enzo. I hope things turn around soon. After 6 years in customer support I know how hard it's to ask for anything. All the best.
