Pixel's a foreign object blocking the intestines: help with the vet bill
Pixel, Giovanna's German shepherd, needs urgent treatment for a foreign object blocking the intestines costing $1,650.

Pixel is my German shepherd of two years. On 25 May we rushed to Verona Veterinary Centre with a foreign object blocking the intestines. The vet recommends a hospital stay and surgery, and the estimate came to $1,650.
They have stabilized Pixel, but the treatment can't wait beyond July.
Pixel is more than a pet - Pixel is a retired therapy animal who has comforted dozens of patients. I have already put $260 toward the bills and asked for a payment plan.
Whatever I can't raise, I'll repay to anyone who needs it back.
If more is raised than needed, the surplus goes to Verona Veterinary Centre's charity fund for other animals.
Where the $1,650 goes:
• Emergency surgery: $920
• Hospitalization (4 nights): $180
• Medication and follow-up visits: $270
• Diagnostics (X-ray, bloodwork): $280
Whatever you can give, even just sharing this page, means a lot.
