Pioneer Primary School needs a rainwater harvesting system - Amal's neighborhood project
Volunteers in Jeddah are raising $2,600 for a rainwater harvesting system at Pioneer Primary School.

For three years the neighborhood has asked for a rainwater harvesting system. This year a group of 20 volunteers, including local mothers, decided to stop waiting. The council has given permission for Pioneer Primary School, but no funding.
We have received donated tools, and the remaining cost is $2,600.
It will serve about 412 people, including young people who have nowhere safe to play. We'll hold a build day in April and everyone is invited.
We're a small team, and every dollar will be spent in the open - I'll post receipts and progress photos.
Funds are spent only on materials, permits and safety equipment; all labor is volunteered.
Where the $2,600 goes:
• Materials: $1,900
• Permits and inspections: $195
• Safety equipment and signage: $220
• Tools hire and delivery: $285
You're what makes this possible, and I'll never forget it.
