Pioneer Park needs a playground - Aarti's neighborhood project
A community-led a playground at Pioneer Park that will serve 519 neighbors.

For eight years the neighborhood has asked for a playground. This year a group of 24 volunteers, including local mothers, decided to stop waiting. The council has given permission for Pioneer Park, but no funding.
We have received donated timber, and the remaining cost is $450.
It will serve about 519 people, including elderly neighbors living alone. We'll hold a build day in September and everyone is invited.
We're a small team, and every dollar will be spent in the open - I'll post receipts and progress photos.
Funds are spent only on materials, permits and safety equipment; all labor is volunteered.
Where the $450 goes:
• Materials: $360
• Tools hire and delivery: $60
• Safety equipment and signage: $30
