Philippe wants to stay at home - help fund three months of care
Philippe, 86, needs daily care to stay at home, and the family is raising $850 for a carer and medicines.

I'm caring for my father, who's 86. After a heart attack Philippe can no longer manage alone. A nursing home would cost far more than we have, and Philippe desperately wants to stay at home.
I work 50 hours a week and have cut back to look after him, but we need a part-time carer.
Philippe worked all of his life as a farmer, and raised 2 children. Now we're trying to give some of that care back.
Medication, a hospital bed and a carer for three months will make a huge difference.
The carer will be employed through a registered agency and paid directly. I'll share the agency invoices.

• Mobility aids and bathroom adaptations: $145
• Medication and prescriptions: $145
• Part-time carer (three months): $560

Quick update: $18 raised so far (2%). the plan for medication and prescriptions is now scheduled. Receipts coming as soon as I have them.
