Peace's spinal decompression surgery can't wait - please help us cover the bill
A scheduled spinal decompression surgery in October is out of reach without help covering $650 of the cost.

Peace was diagnosed with an aortic valve defect in July. The surgeon at Lagos Regional Medical Center recommended spinal decompression surgery, and She is scheduled for October. The hospital's financial office gave us a written estimate of $930, and after what my employer's plan will pay we're still $650 short.
my wife has been in and out of Lagos Regional Medical Center since July. The doctors say an aortic valve defect will get worse without spinal decompression surgery. We have emptied our savings and borrowed from relatives, but the estimate of $930 is more than we can find.
While we wait, Peace struggles with daily life and can't look after the children alone. Her family has taken turns caring for her, and I've cut my own work hours to be there.
Rehabilitation is expected to take about 8 weeks. During that time Peace won't be able to look after the children alone, so the costs keep growing.
The money goes straight to the treatment bills, and I'll share the invoices as they're paid so you can see exactly what your gift did.
Where the $650 goes:
• Post-operative medication: $50
• Hospital stay (3 nights): $420
• Pre-operative tests and imaging: $50
• Physiotherapy sessions: $90
• Travel and lodging for the family: $40
Thank you so much.
