Paula is facing acute lymphoblastic leukemia and the cost of treatment, travel and care at home is far beyond what the family can cover.

Paula was diagnosed with acute lymphoblastic leukemia in May. The oncology team at Málaga Cancer Centre has planned 12 rounds of treatment, starting in July. She will be away from work for about 4 weeks. Paula is 35, worked as a cleaner at a hospital until May, and has always been the one who looks after everyone else. Now it's our turn to look after her. Treatment is covered only in part. Medication that isn't on the approved list, trips to Málaga Cancer Centre 3 times a week, and the income the family has lost add up quickly. We've already sold what we could and have begun borrowing for groceries. Every kindness from you takes weight off her shoulders. I'll post every invoice and receipt as an update so donors can follow where each gift goes. Where the $5,400 goes: • Chemotherapy and medication not covered: $2,300 • Scans and lab work: $420 • Transport to Málaga Cancer Centre: $610 • Nutrition and supplements prescribed by the care team: $530 • Household costs while unable to work: $1,540 Thank you for reading my story. - Tomás
