Paul needs a lift to Nnewi General Hospital - can you help one day a week?
Paul needs dialysis three times a week and has lost the ability to drive; volunteer drivers can each take one day.

Paul has been on dialysis for 1 years and until recently drove to Nnewi General Hospital alone. After a foot amputation, Paul can no longer drive. Taxis cost more than the family can pay three times a week.
We're building a rota of volunteer drivers. Each session is 4 hours, including the trip there and back; most volunteers take one regular day. The journey is about 34 km each way.
Paul is cheerful company. You'd need a car in good condition and a clean driving record. We'll cover your fuel costs, and the family will send you home with homemade food.
Please say which day works for you in the comments.
I'll keep this page updated with receipts as things happen.

Keep going, Folake. Gave what I could, wish it was more.
Keep going. Hope the treatment goes smoothly and recovery is quick. Don't lose heart. A few weeks ago I was in a hole too and it changed faster than I expected. Take care.
Reading this made my day a bit heavier but I'm glad I did. Thinking of Nnewi.
you're not alone, Folake. Shared this with my family. Blessings.
Sending good thoughts, Folake. Get well soon. Don't lose heart. A few weeks ago I was in a hole too and it changed faster than I expected. Love from Lagos.
