After a car accident that kept me from work for 4 weeks, I fell 3 months behind on rent. Last Wednesday a final eviction notice was taped to my door, and the amount I owe is $4,100.
My landlord has been understanding for a while, but he has now been clear: if the arrears aren't cleared by November, we must leave.
