Patricia's palate reconstruction surgery can't wait - please help us cover the bill
After a large ovarian cyst, Patricia was cleared for palate reconstruction surgery, but the bill is more than we can manage.

Patricia was diagnosed with a large ovarian cyst in July. The surgeon at Cali University Hospital recommended palate reconstruction surgery, and She is scheduled for October. The hospital's financial office gave us a written estimate of $1,600, and after what the government subsidy will pay we're still $800 short.
my sister has been in and out of Cali University Hospital since July. The doctors say a large ovarian cyst will get worse without palate reconstruction surgery. We have emptied our savings and borrowed from relatives, but the estimate of $1,600 is more than we can find.
While we wait, Patricia struggles with daily life and can't look after the children alone. Her family has taken turns caring for her, and I've cut my own work hours to be there.
Recovery is expected to take about 12 weeks. During that time Patricia won't be able to look after the children alone, so the costs keep growing.
I'll pay the hospital and pharmacy directly and post every receipt in the updates section.
Where the $800 goes:
• Physiotherapy sessions: $175
• Pre-operative tests and imaging: $70
• Surgeon and anesthesia fees: $555
