Patricia needs three industrial sewing machines to reopen a tailoring shop
A tailoring shop in Vigo needs help replacing three industrial sewing machines after the demolition of the market.

For six years I have run a tailoring shop in Vigo. In August, the demolition of the market took three industrial sewing machines. I have no insurance, and the bank won't lend to me.
Before that, my customers came every Sunday, and I employed 3 people from the neighborhood. I have been out of business for 10 weeks.
This business pays my children's school fees and rent. I have already started working from home in small ways, but I can't meet orders without proper equipment.
Every contribution brings me closer to reopening, and I promise to post photos as I buy each item.
Once I'm back on my feet I plan to hire back the people I had to let go.
Where the $1,800 goes:
• Replacing three industrial sewing machines: $1,100
• Initial stock: fabric and thread: $320
• Shop repairs and licensing: $200
• Working capital for the first month: $180
I'll keep this page updated with receipts as things happen.

Shared it with a few friends. We're a small family in New Delhi but we're thinking of you. Thinking of Vigo.
Best of luck. Hope the shop reopens soon. After 26 years in farming I know how hard it's to ask for anything
Wishing you the best, Patricia. I hope things turn around soon
Hope you make a strong comeback. Greetings from Mombasa.
