Parents near Düsseldorf: could you share school runs for 6 weeks?

I'm Sophia, a parent in Düsseldorf. I'm recovering from a knee operation and have been told not to drive or carry anything heavy for about 6 weeks. My children are six and nine, and the school is 3 miles away. I'm looking for parents or neighbors who could take one or two pick-ups a week, or walk with them. I can do the cooking and homework in return once I'm back on my feet, and I'm glad to share fuel costs.
