8 rounds of treatment are planned at Veracruz University Hospital; we're asking for help with the costs insurance doesn't cover.

Paloma was diagnosed with multiple myeloma in April. The oncology team at Veracruz University Hospital has planned 8 rounds of treatment, starting in June. She will be away from work for about 12 weeks. Paloma is 26, worked as a bus conductor until April, and has always been the one who looks after everyone else. Now it's our turn to look after her. Treatment is covered only in part. Medication that isn't on the approved list, trips to Veracruz University Hospital 2 times a week, and the income the family has lost add up quickly. We've already sold what we could and have begun borrowing for groceries. Every kindness from you takes weight off her shoulders. I'll post every invoice and receipt as an update so donors can follow where each gift goes. Where the $3,300 goes: • Scans and lab work: $500 • Transport to Veracruz University Hospital: $220 • Household costs while unable to work: $520 • Chemotherapy and medication not covered: $2,060 Thank you for reading my story. - Víctor
