Tacoma
Paisley earned a place in Year 10 at Tacoma International School, and the family couldn't be prouder. The school has a long list of things She needs, including a laptop for the coding course, and a uniform. The family has few resources; the list costs $500, which is more than they have. Paisley loves coding and wants to become an engineer. A laptop will allow coursework at home instead of waiting for library hours. She will take care of everything given and works very hard. Items on the list: laptop, uniform, shoes, textbooks, calculator and a bag. Where the $500 goes: • School uniform and shoes: $135 • Textbooks and workbooks: $270 • Calculator, stationery and a school bag: $95 I never thought I'd be the one asking, and I'm grateful for every bit of support.
