Pablo's prostate cancer treatment fund
6 rounds of treatment are planned at the Erie Oncology Institute; we're asking for help with the costs insurance doesn't cover.
🇺🇸 United States715 views
Pablo was diagnosed with prostate cancer in March. The oncology team at the Erie Oncology Institute has planned 6 rounds of treatment, starting in June. He will be away from work for about 4 weeks.
Pablo is 39, worked as a bus conductor until March, and has always been the one who looks after everyone else. Now it's our turn to look after him.
Treatment is covered only in part. Medication that isn't on the approved list, trips to the Erie Oncology Institute 5 times a week, and the income the family has lost add up quickly.
We've already sold what we could and have begun borrowing for groceries. Every kindness from you takes weight off his shoulders.
I'll post every invoice and receipt as an update so donors can follow where each gift goes.
Where the $9,550 goes:
• Transport to the Erie Oncology Institute: $1,100
• Household costs while unable to work: $1,050
• Nutrition and supplements prescribed by the care team: $630
• Chemotherapy and medication not covered: $6,770
Thank you for reading my story.
