Ouma's a rare sarcoma treatment fund
Ouma is facing a rare sarcoma and the cost of treatment, travel and care at home is far beyond what the family can cover.

Ouma was diagnosed with a rare sarcoma in April. The oncology team at Arusha Cancer Centre has planned 6 rounds of treatment, starting in August. He will be away from work for about 12 weeks.
Ouma is 31, worked as a primary school teacher until April, and has always been the one who looks after everyone else. Now it's our turn to look after him.
Treatment is covered only in part. Medication that isn't on the approved list, trips to Arusha Cancer Centre 4 times a week, and the income the family has lost add up quickly.
We've already sold what we could and have begun borrowing for groceries. Every kindness from you takes weight off his shoulders.
I'll post every invoice and receipt as an update so donors can follow where each gift goes.
Where the $1,050 goes:
• Transport to Arusha Cancer Centre: $140
• Nutrition and supplements prescribed by the care team: $80
• Scans and lab work: $120
• Chemotherapy and medication not covered: $710
