Orawan needs a prosthetic leg that the health system will not fund; the cost is $1,700.

Orawan lives with multiple sclerosis. The occupational therapist at the Chiang Mai Mobility Clinic has assessed her and recommended a prosthetic leg. The public scheme doesn't cover it, and the quote from the supplier is $1,700.
Her current equipment is 8 years old and keeps breaking, which has confined her to home for 6 weeks.
With the right equipment Orawan could go to school independently. It would change everyday life for the whole family.
We've applied to two charities already and received small contributions; this campaign covers the rest.
I'll pay the supplier directly from the funds, and I'll post a photo once the equipment is delivered.
Where the $1,700 goes:
• prosthetic leg: $1,500
• Fitting and training sessions: $90
• Delivery and set-up: $40
• First-year servicing plan: $70
