Opio's school year: uniform, books and a laptop

Opio earned a place in Year 10 at the Kasarani Selective School, and the family couldn't be prouder. The school has a long list of things He needs, including a laptop for the design and technology course, and a uniform. The family has few resources; the list costs $160, which is more than they have. Opio loves design and technology and wants to become a marine biologist. A laptop will allow coursework at home instead of waiting for library hours. He will take care of everything given and works very hard. Items on the list: laptop, uniform, shoes, textbooks, calculator and a bag. Where the $160 goes: • Laptop: $95 • School uniform and shoes: $30 • Textbooks and workbooks: $30 • Calculator, stationery and a school bag: $5 Every share and every dollar helps. - James
