One semester away: help Winnie graduate from Kampala University

Winnie is the first person in the family to go to university. She is studying a computer science degree at Kampala University, and is one semester away from graduating. She has worked as a library assistant to pay the way, but this term the hours were cut and there's an unpaid balance of $500. The registrar has said Winnie can't enroll for the next term until the balance is cleared. Winnie has a distinction average, and a faculty supervisor has written in support. Graduating means a stable job and the chance to support the younger siblings. Without enrolling this term Winnie would lose her place and scholarship eligibility. Winnie isn't asking for a handout - She wants to finish what She started and help the next student. The payment will go directly to the Kampala University bursar's office. I'll post the receipt. Where the $500 goes: • Outstanding tuition balance: $280 • Final term tuition: $130 • Exam and lab fees: $25 • Textbooks and materials: $65 Thank you for reading my story. - Faith
