One semester away: help Wafula graduate from Kasarani Polytechnic
Wafula has worked and saved for four years to study an accounting degree; a $1,300 gap now stands between him and graduation.

Wafula is the first person in the family to go to university. He is studying an accounting degree at Kasarani Polytechnic, and is one term away from graduating. He has worked as a night-shift cleaner to pay the way, but this term the hours were cut and there's an unpaid balance of $1,300.
The registrar has said Wafula can't enroll for the next term until the balance is cleared. Wafula has a 3.9 average, and a professor has written in support.
Graduating means a stable job and the chance to support the younger siblings. Without enrolling this term Wafula would lose his place and scholarship eligibility.
Wafula isn't asking for a handout - He wants to finish what He started and help the next student.
The payment will go directly to the Kasarani Polytechnic bursar's office. I'll post the receipt.
Where the $1,300 goes:
• Outstanding tuition balance: $590
• Final term tuition: $640
• Exam and lab fees: $25
• Textbooks and materials: $45
