Vinod is the first person in the family to go to university. He is studying a degree in civil engineering at Rohini Community College, and is one term away from graduating. He has worked as a library assistant to pay the way, but this term the hours were cut and there's an unpaid balance of $450. The registrar has said Vinod can't enroll for the next term until the balance is cleared. Vinod has a top-ten-percent average, and a professor has written in support. Graduating means a stable job and the chance to support the younger siblings. Without enrolling this term Vinod would lose his place and scholarship eligibility. Vinod isn't asking for a handout - He wants to finish what He started and help the next student. The payment will go directly to the Rohini Community College bursar's office. I'll post the receipt. Where the $450 goes: • Exam and lab fees: $25 • Textbooks and materials: $30 • Final term tuition: $395 Even a small gift gets used right away and I'll thank you myself.
