One semester away: help Vanessa graduate from Petrópolis State College

Vanessa is the first person in the family to go to university. She is studying an electrical engineering diploma at Petrópolis State College, and is two terms away from graduating. She has worked as a library assistant to pay the way, but this term the hours were cut and there's an unpaid balance of $550. The registrar has said Vanessa can't enroll for the next term until the balance is cleared. Vanessa has a top-ten-percent average, and a faculty supervisor has written in support. Graduating means a stable job and the chance to support the younger siblings. Without enrolling this term Vanessa would lose her place and scholarship eligibility. Vanessa isn't asking for a handout - She wants to finish what She started and help the next student. Everything raised goes to the university's accounts office toward the outstanding balance and the final term's fees. Where the $550 goes: • Final term tuition: $410 • Textbooks and materials: $60 • Exam and lab fees: $80 Whatever you can give, even just sharing this page, means a lot.
