One semester away: help Umar graduate from the Jakarta Selatan Institute of Technology

Umar is the first person in the family to go to university. He is studying a master's in public health at the Jakarta Selatan Institute of Technology, and is one semester away from graduating. He has worked as a tutor to pay the way, but this term the hours were cut and there's an unpaid balance of $900. The registrar has said Umar can't enroll for the next term until the balance is cleared. Umar has a 3.9 average, and a department head has written in support. Graduating means a stable job and the chance to support the younger siblings. Without enrolling this term Umar would lose his place and scholarship eligibility. Umar isn't asking for a handout - He wants to finish what He started and help the next student. The payment will go directly to the the Jakarta Selatan Institute of Technology bursar's office. I'll post the receipt. Where the $900 goes: • Outstanding tuition balance: $310 • Final term tuition: $500 • Exam and lab fees: $55 • Textbooks and materials: $35 I'll pay this kindness forward the moment I'm able to. - Dedi
