One semester away: help Tharindu graduate from Colombo Community College
Tharindu has worked and saved for four years to study an accounting degree; a $700 gap now stands between him and graduation.

I'm the first person in my family to go to university. I'm studying an accounting degree at Colombo Community College, and I'm one semester away from graduating. I have worked as a barista to pay my way, but this term my hours were cut and I have an unpaid balance of $700.
The registrar has told me I can't enroll for the next term until the balance is cleared. I have a 3.9 average, and my department head has written in support of my application for a payment plan.
Graduating means a stable job and the chance to support my younger siblings. Without enrolling this term I'd lose my place and my scholarship eligibility.
I'm not asking for a handout - I want to finish what I started and then help the next student.
Everything raised goes to the university's accounts office toward the outstanding balance and the final term's fees.
Where the $700 goes:
• Final term tuition: $420
• Textbooks and materials: $60
• Outstanding tuition balance: $220
Whatever you can give, even just sharing this page, means a lot.

is there anything that isn't money that would help Tharindu?
Hang in there. I've been in a tough spot myself and it does get easier. It's not much but it's yours.
