A first-generation student, Thabo needs help covering tuition for the final stretch of a pharmacy diploma.

Thabo is the first person in the family to go to university. He is studying a pharmacy diploma at Ekurhuleni Community College, and is one term away from graduating. He has worked as a barista to pay the way, but this term the hours were cut and there's an unpaid balance of $1,000.
The registrar has said Thabo can't enroll for the next term until the balance is cleared. Thabo has a top-ten-percent average, and a faculty supervisor has written in support.
Graduating means a stable job and the chance to support the younger siblings. Without enrolling this term Thabo would lose his place and scholarship eligibility.
Thabo isn't asking for a handout - He wants to finish what He started and help the next student.
The payment will go directly to the Ekurhuleni Community College bursar's office. I'll post the receipt.
Where the $1,000 goes:
• Outstanding tuition balance: $195
• Final term tuition: $630
• Exam and lab fees: $75
• Textbooks and materials: $100
