Tanvi is the first person in the family to go to university. She is studying a nursing degree at the Coimbatore Institute of Technology, and is two terms away from graduating. She has worked as a library assistant to pay the way, but this term the hours were cut and there's an unpaid balance of $650.
The registrar has said Tanvi can't enroll for the next term until the balance is cleared. Tanvi has a 3.9 average, and a professor has written in support.
Graduating means a stable job and the chance to support the younger siblings. Without enrolling this term Tanvi would lose her place and scholarship eligibility.
Tanvi isn't asking for a handout - She wants to finish what She started and help the next student.
The payment will go directly to the the Coimbatore Institute of Technology bursar's office. I'll post the receipt.
Where the $650 goes:
• Outstanding tuition balance: $420
• Final term tuition: $200
• Exam and lab fees: $30
I'll keep this page updated with receipts as things happen.

Shared it with a few friends. We had a similar scare last year, I know what it feels like. Love from Chandler.
