One semester away: help Sofia graduate from Uppsala Polytechnic
Sofia has worked and saved for three years to study a teaching qualification; a $3,250 gap now stands between her and graduation.

I'm the first person in my family to go to university. I'm studying a teaching qualification at Uppsala Polytechnic, and I'm two terms away from graduating. I have worked as a delivery rider to pay my way, but this term my hours were cut and I have an unpaid balance of $3,250.
The registrar has told me I can't enroll for the next term until the balance is cleared. I have a first-class average, and my professor has written in support of my application for a payment plan.
Graduating means a stable job and the chance to support my younger siblings. Without enrolling this term I'd lose my place and my scholarship eligibility.
I'm not asking for a handout - I want to finish what I started and then help the next student.
The payment will go directly to the Uppsala Polytechnic bursar's office. I'll post the receipt.
Where the $3,250 goes:
• Exam and lab fees: $210
• Textbooks and materials: $165
• Outstanding tuition balance: $2,875
I'll pay this kindness forward the moment I'm able to.

Stay strong. I've been in a tough spot myself and it does get easier. Greetings from Tarkwa.
