Serhiy is the first person in the family to go to university. He is studying an electrical engineering diploma at Moscow Polytechnic, and is one term away from graduating. He has worked as a delivery rider to pay the way, but this term the hours were cut and there's an unpaid balance of $650. The registrar has said Serhiy can't enroll for the next term until the balance is cleared. Serhiy has a 3.8 average, and a department head has written in support. Graduating means a stable job and the chance to support the younger siblings. Without enrolling this term Serhiy would lose his place and scholarship eligibility. Serhiy isn't asking for a handout - He wants to finish what He started and help the next student. The payment will go directly to the Moscow Polytechnic bursar's office. I'll post the receipt. Where the $650 goes: • Final term tuition: $280 • Exam and lab fees: $40 • Outstanding tuition balance: $330 Glad we found this place.

Hope things get better soon. Education changes everything, hope you graduate with honors. My sister had a similar thing happen so this one hit home. All the best.
