Sapna is the first person in the family to go to university. She is studying an electrical engineering diploma at Kota University, and is one semester away from graduating. She has worked as a delivery rider to pay the way, but this term the hours were cut and there's an unpaid balance of $300.
The registrar has said Sapna can't enroll for the next term until the balance is cleared. Sapna has a top-ten-percent average, and a faculty supervisor has written in support.
Graduating means a stable job and the chance to support the younger siblings. Without enrolling this term Sapna would lose her place and scholarship eligibility.
Sapna isn't asking for a handout - She wants to finish what She started and help the next student.
The payment will go directly to the Kota University bursar's office. I'll post the receipt.
Where the $300 goes:
• Outstanding tuition balance: $260
• Exam and lab fees: $15
• Textbooks and materials: $25

Is there a list of costs somewhere? Just curious how it adds up for Sapna
Sure. The biggest one is outstanding tuition balance, $260. The rest is in the list at the bottom of the post and I'll upload receipts as I pay each one. Good question.
Reading this made my day a bit heavier but I'm glad I did. Wish I lived closer to Da Nang so I could bring a meal
